I wasn't wanting to pay stealer prices and wondered if anybody has used Volkswerk in Middlesborough?? They are Audi and Volkswagen Specialists.

I've been convinced my DMF has been on the way out and now my clutch has started to slip!

Hi mate - I havent used Volkswerk but can recommend 'Volkscentre' in Blyth, just north of Newcastle. I had my 8L S3 there a few times and my SEAT before that.

Theyre extremely experienced, honest, and wont take you to the cleaners.

Lawson carsales in Middlesbrough are also Audi specialists, i had my car services there last time it was due and it was over £100 less than Audi.

all the mechanicas that work there have had Audi training and they all use Audi diagnostic equipment and parts.

Paul - I've used Ron Turnbull's in Middlesbrough regularily and have not had one bad experience yet. Volkwerks and Ron Turnbulls are literally next door to each other. Both use places use VAG trained guys etc. I have not used Volkswek but thats only due to the fact that I have nt had a need to as I have always been happy with Rons level of service.

You dont get a car wash (or scratch depending on how you look at it) but you do get your car looked at by people you care, are enthusiasts and actually take care of your car.

As someone who lives in the area, I would just like to add my thanks too. It is handy to know about these places as searches on Google don't always ping these up.

I know that there is a VAG Specialist called Oxford Garage in Hurworth, near Croft-on-Tees. Disclaimer: I haven't used them, but a colleague has and he was happy. Especially as they under quoted him and honoured it.
