benji ive had 4 in the car with no rubbing not sure with 5 but if i did with 5 theres a metal clip at the top of the front arch id remove that and for the back cut about 10 cm out of the middle of the arch liner near the arch but i wont have 5 heads in ofter so its fine for now and it might not even rub with 5 in i got to try it yet...........

Benji, I'm running 19" -lowered a fair bit on coilovers.
Mines are 8x19 5x112 ET45.
Tyres are 225/35 ZR19.
2,000 miles later and never rubbed once.....

nice, you havent rubbed once you say, but what happens when you drive with full load?.

ANother question: is 8.5x19 with 225 tyres the same as 8x19 225's.

I mean they're not the same but I mean when we speak of rubbing.

or does the 8.5 width rim rubb more than the 8j??

8.5 width will be more prone to rubbage than 8.0 width.
I'd always try and source 8.0 as it's tried and tested.
