Pointers/Help on Removing 2.0 TDi Turbo

Hi guys.

My cars booked in for next week at the garage to be fitted with a new turbo but i want to take a look at it for myself and see whats gone wrong...

Could someone give me some advise/pointers on how to get it off and the timescale of the job.

i wouldnt bother i was going to do the same, first the turbo is in a difficult position and there is a bar (which looks like it holds the car together:)) which goes across the underside of the car which you would have to take off to get the turbo out, unless you have a ramp or pit would be very difficult.
 
Hmmm - I've got a pit in my garage

My cars been off the road for over a week now so going to take a nosey tommorrow and see how it goes.

The garage are going to fit a new turbo (when it arrives) and im pretty sure its bust so cant really break it anymore .. i think :S
