Was wondering if anyone can recommend an Alloy Refurb company (ideally mobile) on the South (Hampshire) coast?

I mullered my rear offside 18" RS6 type alloy on the really high curbs by the multi storey exit gate in West Quay. The lanes for the ticket gates are really narrow as well, and all I heard was a horrible graunching and scraping noise as i turned left out of the car park. The tyre had a small sliver taken out as well - was doing about 3mph! Only bought the car recently - was v. annoyed at myself and the piggin' multi storey designer....

So as it's just the one wheel I'd be after a mobile refurb company. How much does it cost? was thinking £40 or so? Must be able to do a decent job. None of the putty crap sparyed silver that comes off after 6 months.

Any suggestions?

Cheers

best to send it upto spitnpolish in tonbridge area, they're good & work with alot of kwikfits aswell I beleive

Not mobile, but http://www.solentwheels.com/ in Ampfield do a fantastic job  . Not cheap mind, at £70 for 18"s, but worth every penny in my book :) .

Here's a photo of my colour coded ones that they just done for me...

Looks a bit like Akoya, thats got me thinking, my cars Akoya, wonder what it would look like with the standard RS6's in matching paint?

Sorry, don't have code as I chose it from about 4000 possible colours. I tried to match it with the bumper trim

I like the colour so much I might get some done for myself in that colour, look good on my car I think with the darker colours

Very nice.

I've been recommended Lepson's in Gillingham: http://www.lepsons.com/

Emailed them details yesterday and they came back to me today with answers to all my questions. Quoted me about £70 but need the rim for about 4-5 days.

The wheel specialist in Fareham, hampshire gets fantastic reviews locally.
We use them for all our wheel repairs (contract hire company)

Thanks. Tried The Wheel Specialist. They seem to know what they're doing. Apparently the alloy is too damaged to be "touched up". A full refurb will be £70 plus £12 for removal, fitting, and then VAT,so £94 all in! Interestingly the guys said I was the 4th person who mullered their alloys in West Quay car park. Got a mind to give West Quay the bill, but I guess they'll just say I can't drive! I guess it's not like the kerb jumped at my alloys.....

Will try and few more quotes and see...

Solent Wheels include tyre removal, refitting, new valve and balancing in their price ;) .
