?? are Manual and Dsg engines the same ??

hello

i own a 2004 2.0 tdi audi a3 with dsg gearbox but the engine has broke and i need a new one

the oil finished and seized

i have found a engine complete with turbo etc with same bkd code like mine but it is from manual 6 gear a3

will it fit my dsg gearbox?

I would have thought the engines are the same but ECU and a few other ancillaries would be different, maybe clutch/flywheel as well.

the oil finished

i didnt know the engine use so much oil and no oil light came on

it was stupid and i will check more now

what ancillaries would be different because the engine look exactly the same

i will use sam flywheel which is on the car now
