hey guys,

just recently fitted a new perforated leather gear stick, looked at some new steering wheels but there so ****** pricey, i have the standard all leather three spoke wheel. (not mfsw) the previous owner obviously wore rings or summin as there are hundreds of little scratches/tears in the leather, all im wondering is if it is possible to get it re leathered with the perforated leather?!

it is yes, most retrim places will do it but bare in mind that they would charge around £150 for it if not more as its a time consuming job and the amount of leather used is tiny compared to a whole retrim so if they need to order the leather in then its going to be expensive.

if it was me i would buy a new steering wheel as the price difference is not going to be massive as you can use your existing airbag.
