am getting a set of rs6 alloys, i have got some H&R 35mm on the way and im worried with offset and rubbing issues.

what is the standard offset for a3 sport alloys? im getting the rs6 reps off of wheelbase and if i go for 18's what will the offset be?!
it says offset is from 35-45 is there an option or does the 16in run et35 n 19in run et45

thanks for your help guys. and also, what tires would be on? i currently have 225/45 zr 17 would it be 225/40 zr 18 or does the width decrease?!

mine are 19 inch the offset is 45 and im getting h&rs on the 27th fitted.... it will be a bit tight but shouldnt have any rubbing issues my tires are from wheel base but they only offer 235s so i got them to order falcon fks 223/35/19 which have a slighlty streched look and the tire slopes inwards so i shouldnt have any rubbing issues i may have to get rid of one bolt under the front arch at the top in the middle so you should be ok with 18inch deffo 19s like mine should be ok il have to see il be posting some pics lowered next tuesday

Don't go any wider than 225 gixer.
As for offset - ET45 is fine!

I'm running 8x19 ET45 (225/35 ZR19 tyres) with no rubbing issues.

I'm running about -70/-80 ish.
Way lower than the H&R's, so you'll have no issues with the above set-up

just rung wheel-base they said the tires will be 225 and offset will be between 42 n 45 but most likely around 45, so does that sound ok?!

don - what tires size you running? you get much issues with rubbin, i do really like your car, id be well happy with that!
