1.9tdi only 105bhp i think
2.0tdi 140 depending what year. After 06 i believe they started the 170 model.
The 8L might have lower miles and the 8P higher. And Prices these days are what dealers would like some one to pay but most people get the price down.
8P Chasis i'd say quite good.

Dont know too much about the tdi myself. but sure some one will be able to help you on this one.

I owned a 2004 A3 2.0TDI-140 for 2.5 years and 36,700 miles and had not problems with it at all. It was a good car and great fun to drive.

I changed it in March 2007 for a 170 Sportback and I now have a new 09 Sportback on order with the new 2.0TDI-140 common-rail diesel. The 140 both in PD and CR form is quite a bit better from the mpg point of view that the 170. I used to get around 48-50mpg out of my 140PD whereas I only get around 40-41 out of my current 170PD.

And yes the 1.9TDI is 105ps
