9 inch is too fat for a 52 offset, they catch the inside on the rears from what i can make out. If not they would be very very close!
9's are wide, its the fronts you need to worry about especially with ET52, they will deffo hit the suspension struts. I have 9x19 ET41 rims and they JUST clear the struts, but they poke out. Id avoid 9" wide rims on a A3.
thanks for the replies guys. the wheels were the multi spokes off the new tts. thought i would be different with having them on. But now i know why i havent seen any a3s with these wheels
I think I remember someone on here trying to fit a set of these to his A3 and they would not fit.
Ahh, If I knew they was OEM TT wheels I can categorically tell you they dont fit. I tried one on mine and they were ok when it was on the jack but once put back on the road it was touching all over the shop. I reckon they need 10-15mm spacers to fit but if you did that they would foul the arch lip. Its a no win unless you do some serious arch modding!
