I never got a lot of choice on spec as i went for an 'instock' car to gain a good deal and instant availability, pleased to say the OEM looks are really growing on me.

I plan to keep the car as is outside but will enhance the handling and power output.

The new shape BMW is the first one that I like the 4dr as much as the coupe.
Not my favourite shape to date I`ll admit, but in 335 guise both are on the future potential car list.
Too good to ignore by all accounts.
As is the new S4...

Definetly not mega bucks especially as I spend a large but affordable portion of both mine and my wifes salaries on monthly payments, my wifes opt out allowance covers the BMW (just) so to me its worth every penny as cars are my real passion in life which thankfully she supports.

I do feel very lucky but it's also about priorities, I'm in my early 40's now with 2 year old so no more night clubbing or property hopping etc, instead of money going on the usual socialisng and latest labels it goes on Mortgage, Nursery then Cars in that order LOL

As far as new BMW's go i'm not sure what some people are looking at... The new shape X5, X6, new Z4, E92 coupe, M3 in both coupe and saloon forms.... All look fantastic. Very sleek classy, understated pieces of car design. Y'know... Like Audi used to do!

I'm in exactly the same boat mate (but not as old )

Its got to a point where there's two 09 plate cars on the drive and the neighbours are thinking WTF have you come into some money or something. But the fact that I've just finished all of the work on the house and now the disposable cash is my own, it was a case of , right back to the cars then.
