Audi Service Programme : Retail Service Offer

hi, I'm considering purchasing an A3 3.2 from Audi and have noticed the Audi Retail Service Offer:

Retail Service Offer 

The Audi Service Programme is available on this Approved Used Audi for just £499 RRP. The programme covers the cost of all scheduled servicing for 24 months or 30,000 miles (whichever is soonest). Coupled with the 'Approved' programme you'll have total piece of mind.

Is it worth getting this with the car and will it offer me any savings compared to just servicing the car annually and paying for it each time?

If the car is on the longlife service programme, then it would only need 1 service in that time - I've just had mine serviced and came to £225.
