Hi

An Audi health check recommended me to replace my plenhum chamber, they said it was slightly distorted.

Any info on where or what this plenhum chamber is would be much appreciated!?

Replace Audi with GU Health; some weekend you have had.

*Getting my coat.:tumble:

Usually before the throttle body.

I removed the plastic trim under the windscreen and this gave access to the plenum chamber as its called. I then removed the wiper motor and this allows the cover to be removed that allows access to the inside of the car.

actually probably nothing to do with audis health check

Its "A chamber, located between the throttle body and the runners of an intake manifold, used to distribute the intake charge evenly and to enhance engine breathing."

Maybe clean the egr/intake manifold flap/manifold - mines a tdi and it was quite dirty...

Its an A3 2.0 TDI SPORT 54 plate

Cheers for the posts!!!!

If im right, they mean the Intake manifold flap ?

£202 from EuroCP.

Or if its after the throttle body as suggested below, thats teh EGR Valve :S

Is there anything wrong with the car?
