Buying A3 2.0L Quattro Sportback S-Line

Looking to buy above car, anything i should look out for, did they make any changes as the years from -05 went on? Any reg's to avoid? Etc? Thanks

don't think there is anything major to look out for on the car in genrel, what engine are you looking at petrol or diesel ?

Going for petrol, had the 2.0L diesel in 2 previous cars (golf MK5) and fancy being able to rev for a change! I really want quattro too!

I bought one 6 weeks ago, 2006 mauritius blue with 18 inch BBS splits as standard - so far, bar coil failure under warranty, I am pleased with the way it drives and handles. Newer onesare supposed to have better soundproofing but overall it does what it says on the tin - goes pretty fast and sticks to the road like glue. Kind of like a family friendly TT in drag!

I ran one for a year before upgrading to the S3.

The 2.0 S-Line Quattro is great fun and practical as well in Sportback version. Can't think of any common problems to watch out for and you should be able to get a good deal in the current economic climate.
