wiper motor died!!???

hi guys,

driving home last nite and my front wipers stopped working. rear ones work fine and screen wash works as well. anyone got any ideas? is there a fault out on the motor?

i have aftermarket HIDs but have had them for over a year without any problems.... so not sure if its that?

Here we go again, aftermarket HID's always kills the wiper motor, whether its 1 week or 9 months or 1 year etc, its always the same story, remove them & find some oem's & then you wont have a nasty bill for £2-300, cause if you fix the wiper motor now then go & use HID's again then it will happen again, many on here have had this issue.

ok many thanks for that will remove them. its just its been over a year and no problems. i did read up on a product recal for wiper motors on a3s.

No worries, yeah just have a look on ebay etc for oem's then go from there, seen some lately & for the 3-400 they cost 2nd user it will not keep costing you later on.
