Quick alternator question

I have a 2.0 tdi, I want to know what size alternator is fitted in the car, how would I find this out?

Possibly in the back of your handbook in the specs page. Someone on here with the parts list will be able to help you out though.

EDIT: they'll need to know the vehicle age and if it's a 140 or 170 version.

Its an 04 plate 140

It can charge 2 batterys (standard and a optima yellow top) with a split charge relay if that helps at all - not sure on actual amps of it..
