Does anybody know if anybody has been able to make the tailgate open up when you press the unlock button rather than just popping the lock? Does any of the rest of the Audi range do it that ideas or possible parts can be sourced from?

The A6 Avant has that facility and maybe the new A4 Avant.

I believe the A8 range has this feature.

Just checked in the brochure on the Audi UK site and the new A4 Avant has a powered lifting tailgate as an option at £365. Perhaps it will be an option on the next A3.
