    RNS-E DVD part number

Does anyone know the part number for the LATEST rns-e DVD 2009 if read in some places that it's 8PO 919 884 but the dealers reckon its 8PO 060 884. Can someone clear this up?? Also does anyone know of the differences between firmware versions 600, 650 and 700?

The 2009 DVD has the part number 8P0 919 884 AD. It has firmware version 650 on it which is the latest version.
The differences between 600 and 6500 (from memory!) are bug fixes, the addition of altitude on the nav info screen and they changed frequency to waveband on the radio display. Version 700 sofware was rumoured to be on some units leaving the factory, but as yet no one has actually seen one of them

From what I hear there is very little difference between 2008 & 2009. The 700 software is due out late 2009

8P0 060 884AD Is the correct number. 8P0 919 884 AD is the part number that they put on the disc. Audi ordering system does not recognise the 919 digits.

It seems that the new 2009 DVD is mostly a map upgrade where as the DVD being released later in 2009 will be a firmware upgrade so if you have the the SDS hack then it will have to be reloaded on the later 2009 disc but not the 2009 that has just been released. Seems it is best to hang on for the later release later in the year.

I picked up this link whilst I've been searching for one of these in the past. Didn't know what year each unit was made for and having a 58 plate A3 would like the most recent. (If I could afford it at the moment!!)
