Local dealer (****) wants to change my AVS service plan into a fixed interval?

Car is currently at 7k miles, and it is telling me it can go another 7k more or 2 years.

Do I say no? What else should I be aware about?

Anyone changed their service plan or oil-type before?

I believe a fixed service needs an oil change every 10K, my variable services come up every, you guessed it 10K. There's not much in it i'm afraid.

But you drive yours further than me? Maybe that has something to do with it?
I've just had a service and drove around like a granny until the service indicator sorted it's self out, time to next service, 9600 miles....

Might have to cross check the service settings on both cars, just to see if there's anything different.

Hmmm.....I'm more concerned about changing oil? Dont suppose it'd matter too much to the engine on changing the type of oil as long as it gets done regularly right?
