Help! dension ipod kit and concert head unit...

Hi been along time since i posted on here.......have a problem ! just purchased the dension gateway 100 ipod kit,connected it up to my concert head unit.....that is my head unit isnt it? or do i have a type 2 version?? (55 plate sportback) anyway connected the kit up.which is pretty straight forward and but the iphone aint charging nor can i find anyway to get into the aux mode on the head unit......so nothing is playing thru it......i get a message saying iphone doesnt support the kit but am told it does and ive looked it up on the net.........am i wrong and how do you get into the aux mode ?? am baffled? thanx for any help.

yes but nothing happened............the car has a nokia bluetooth kit fitted in it aswell......could that be causing a problem? thanx
