hi just had the service light on Im on 86,000 and had the can belt and dsg oil change done 7000 miles ago , phoned audi and they quoted me 238 basic service or 401 with brake fluid and pollen filters etc changed is this a bit steep ? That was in Harold wood audi ( Essex) by the way it's a 2.0 tdi cheers

Hello, Thats very steep in my opinion, we offer servicing for £150 plus VAT and to the brake fluid change is £70 inc VAT

Pollen filter is included in the service price by the way :)

Kindest regards

£401 for a basic service and brake fluid change?

JESUS!!!

Just had my local audi dealer do the following

Major service

pollen filter/fuelfilter

brake fluid change

new cambelt /tensioner

new waterpump

This cost me £550 all in.

(admittidly they wanted to charge me £1100 , but i battered the price down :) )

As stated by backdraft. very expensive !

You managed to all that money off from a dealer!!!! Your My hero Scottie:anbet:

it did feel good :)

not often it happens, but when it does :yahoo:

From my experience you should be able to get the service done for a shade under £200, brake fluid for £70 and pollen filter for extra £12, shop around other Audi dealers in your area.
