I'm looking at changing the rear bumper on my pre facelift (3dr) sport to the facelift s-line version. (Sport has bumper insert & s-line doesn't)

My question is this: Does anyone know the partnumber and the best place to source one from?

Cheers!
Don.

Unless you're lucky enough to catch one on ebay, your dealer's the best bet mate.

There's a few US places that stock Audi parts but since Vagparts (is that what it was called?) closed down there don't seem to be many European parts specialists.

Chris

Cheers mate!
I think vagparts are back - now known as vwspeed?
Will try them, but I'm thinking postage may prove too expensive.

Anyone know what the dealer is likely to charge?

Yeah i would think so! If Audi painted it then i would reckon on £500 all in.

Theres a red one on ebay but its for a sportback, the 3dr ones never come up!

If vwspeed is vagparts then that is very suspicious cause they shut due to the exchange rates being ***** so parts were non profit, so they shut for that reason, so they say, but tbh glad they did.

vwspeed has been around for 2 years or so anyway so cant see how can be them tbh, very unlikely

I recently replaced mine - fortunately I didnt have to pay for it but they were the prices that Audi, Belfast quoted me for the rear bumper and valence

The bumper is around £150+vat and the rear lip is around £67/8/9+vat

Tis true mate - Check out the vwspeed homepage, they've joined forces.
They still appear to have same problems surrounding currency - as they couldn't quote on the bumper.

Uh cant see anything linking vagparts to this site on the homepage, numbers different, location different, so what am I missing here?

Also no mention of vagparts in the about us page

Check out the uk-mkivs traders section for vw-speed
http://uk-mkivs.net/forums/154.aspx

It tells you there that oem-parts and vw-speed have joined forces.

I've been in the process of buying some H&R springs from mike@oem-parts
his email has now changed to mike@vw-speed

Also, a quote from vw-speed homepage.....
"This website is run alongside our Genuine Audi Parts website OEM Parts"
