Hi guys, 3 weeks ago went through VERY deep water, did a first class impression of the Ark Royal followed by clutch slip and a fog light full of water (won't try that again).

I'm going to remove the bulb and stick a 500w halogen work light in front of it to warm it through after draining water first, when fully dry pop the bulb back and it should be OK.

Now, that very handy hand book :readit:has no mention of bulb changing anywhere:think: can anyone help pls.

Oh & Happy New Year to you all

Its easy. In the black grill covering the fog light you will see two cutouts - one at the top and one at the bottom.
You put a flat screwdriver or similar into these and squeeze together to release the plastic clips - and at the same time gently lever the black grill out from the opposite end to the actual fog light.
The black grill just pops out when you release the clips.

After that, the fog lights are held in by three torx screws which are exposed when the grill is removed.

The foglight itself has a black plastic cover at the rear which then clicks off to reveal the bulb....

If you've got to go to the trouble of removing everything, why not just put the whole fog like ( with the bulb removed ) into the airing cupboard. This should gently dry it out, and save having to use the work light.
