Anyone just had a servive 2.0 diesel - Days until next service

Can someone who owns a 2.0 diesel 140 A3 that has had it serviced in the last month on AVS (variable service) please check how many miles and days it is showing until the next service.
You can pull on the right button in the panel to bring up the service info,

Ive serviced mine and reset but not sure its reset correctly.

It does take a little while to settle down Matt.

Pop your VCDS in and take a look at the adpatation channels in 17 if you want to be sure.

It starts off at the maximum of 2 years (729 days) or 20,000 miles for the AVS when the service is just done and then its down hill from there on, depending upon driving style.....

I've seen it said that if you reset it yourself following the instructions in the manual, it reverts to a fixed 12 month/12000 service interval and that the AVS reset can only be done by a dealer.....

ill take another look at adaptation channels next time I am in the car.

When i first reset i ended up on fixed, then after I had used vagcom to reset in took a week or so to even show how long till service, then when it did it showed 729 days but only 12500 miles (around that figure) So I have reset again and waiting to see what happens
