Bulb upgrades?

I use the philips extreme in both dipped and main, they are H7 irc

I have OEM xenons on my current A3 but I have upgraded the normal halogen bulbs on all mt previous A3s. I used the Philips bulbs and they made a big difference. In a recent test in Auto Express the latest Philips uprated bulbs came out top with the Osram ones a close second.

If Audi UK keep to their existing policy of only fitting Xenons to the S3 and offering them as an option only on the S-line, I will be using the Philips bulbs again on my next A3.

yeah the philips did make a nice difference, the light is whiter and picks up the side of the road better as well as further down the road.

Just changed my dipped beams from the OEM Philips to Osram Nightbreakers. They're much improved now, money well spent. Must do the main beams too. Its chilly weather to be changing bulbs though, my hands were blue and cut to ribbons from trying to get them into the light boxes.

****** hell Marc you're up early - been keeping an eye out for your 3.2 on the M1, would love to see it in the flesh, it looks the business...
