I am really tempted to make the same move,had a drive in one recently and loved it. Just a bit bothered about how the prices are going to go with the current financial market etc. Let's know the sort of deal you got Oli.

Don't see why it should be a dream if you have an S3. I'm amazed at how cheap RS4s are these days, the **** has well and truly dropped out of the V8 market.

You can get a 2nd hand Avant with 20k on the clock for under £30k! That is a $hit load of car for the money!

Edit: Sorry just read your sig, but even so the price isn't hugely different.
