New RNSe OEM DVDs, not working :(

I won a 2008 DVD set for the RNSe Navigatio plus on Ebay. :sly:

They arrived today, the dvds are in perfect condition yet when i insert either of them i get "DVD is unreadable" :blink:

Ive wiped them over, done a soft reset, ive returned to factory settings clearing saved data but all to no avail.. :keule:

Ive then re inserted my copid dvd which came with the unit, thats working fine.

Also cross referenced the part numbers (copied and new) both a perfect match... :wacko:

Any ideas before i challenge the seller that theyre not working? :uhm:

It wasnt sealed. Sold as used but seller stated that they were checked and working.. :(
 
i have the dvd disk that came with my audi sat nav if you wanted to try it out see if its the disk before you send the unit back

not sure if you can copie the disk from mind or not , never tried it ( mine is 2008 disk)
 
Hehe, im not ***** about having 09, just want this disk i paid for to work :(
 
yeah that works actually as it pushed the dvd in properly so the drive sensors realise there's a disk inserted, I looked at the mechanism & sensors are ***** but hey what can I say.
