I have been a constant lurker on the forum for the past two years and have only posted a couple of times but have used all the info you guys have provided - so thanks for your indirect help!!
I loved my A3, after coming from a 350z the Quattro was still a lot of fun but a little less sideways but with a 6 week old and family miles away i needed an Estate and with more work mileage I wanted to go further without filling up every 300 miles!
So a 2.7 tdi A6 Le Mans Avant was bought and the A3 traded in.
It is the first time I have part-exed(?) but given the market I was able to use little "grubby" to great effect and my cost to change was effectively £4,500 lower than the stated Parkers, Glass' and Whatcar valuations!
Overall I am very pleased but will miss my A3, here's to cruising and 19 inch alloys (only £560 a pair of tyres!).
