A3 interior/ambient light upgrade

I want to order one of these for my 2007 A3 Sportback S-line. There are a number of colour options, and my headlining/current light is black. VagParts list different colours. Which one do I need - Soul, Platimum, Aqua, Twist ?

you want the soul one. you will also need to select if you have a sunroof and the airbag deactivation thingy. if you call them up and give them your chassis number they'll be able to tell you exactly what you need.

I've fitted the same one to my car - piece of cake really.

Just remove the glass cover and then the other black trim comes off. Once that's off you'll see a couple of philips screws holding it on. remove these, disconnect the power connector and then do the reverse to fit the new one.

ever hear of the phrase "suck it and see"?

just kidding.... no need for any vagcom wizardry - they just take the feed from the interior illumination circuit that the other bits on the cluster use.
