Have Harrogate BMW blindly filed away parts of your car interior then? or is that limited to Audi only?
You should have seen the Branch manager trying to explain that one away! Pure comedy

A simple smile from the receptionist and "Hi, give me a shout if you need any help!" from the salesman, would have been enough to completely change my opinion of them.
I was in there yesterday actually, not impressed with the sales team at all.
I spent a good half hour looking round the blue M3 they've got in, flicking through the brochure on it and even looking at the sales guys like I wanted some help.
Not as much as a smile, no acknowledgement of my existence at all, no hello, no goodbye, and because of that, no future business from me. If I'm after a BMW at any point in the future I'll avoid that place like the plague.
I can relate to this with Bedford BMW. Spent a while looking at the 1 series coupes outside, went inside and looked around, flicked through the coupe brochures, looked at the sales staff, stood doing nothing waiting impatiently, went back outside to look at the cars, got in my car, drove straight to Audi. I started to think I had turned into a ghost.
My car was in Bedford Audi recently to get the electric windows problem sorted. The whole time I was there I was treated like a valued customer, even to the point where when my car was ready the service desk jockey drove it from the bay to the front so I could get into it easily.
A few days later I got a call from the network asking if I would answer a few questions about my visit. I told them everything was great apart from every time I wanted a brew I had to get the receptionist to get it for me. I'd rather have got it myself! I couldn't fault their service. A++++
Bowfer mate do you think you'll ever go back to the brand again? I mean, are you now so disillusioned with Audi that you would never consider buying one of their products again? For example, if they came out with something that was right up your street and seemed to fit your bill perfectly, would you still dismiss it?
How is the Alpina going by the way. Lovely car...
Contrary to popular belief on here, I'm not anti-Audi, per se.

Bought a Mini from BMW in Bedford, service was superb..........I guess there's huge amounts of inconcistency in the same places!

If they ever make a car that twists my nipples, I would not instantly dismiss it, just because it's Audi.
I'm enjoying my Alpina very much, but there's no way I would say that's me a 'BMW man' for life, for example.
Christ knows where I'll end up next, but I did get a real kick out of driving a new C-class Merc in Prague.
There really was something cool about seeing that three-pointed star in front of you as you drove along.
But to do that they'd at least have to speak to you!
