Tyre pressure

I own an A3 sportrtback 2.0T Quatro. I have changer my rims, and fitted those of an S3 with the standard 225/40/R18 dimensions for the tyres, But im not sure about the air pressure. Does anybody know how musch should I inflate them?

have you looked at the sticker inside your fuel flap?

yes but it doesn't have an option for tyre over 17"

Im curently using 38psi front and 36psi rear but mines an s3, i suppose if yours is a quattro then the weights should be similair so you could try those pressures.

Wow that sounds a lot to me!!! Maybe cause its an S3.
I got a 1,4T with 225x45 R17 and because here in Greece its extra hot i have 30 front and 27 rear!
I tried once to use 35/30 but the car was awfully bumpy!

it is because the s3 is a heavy old lump.
