A few weeks ago I was going to order a new A3 170 TDI Sportsback, but just before I was about to place my order I read somewhere that by the end of the year all the DSG boxes will be fitted with the dry clutch plate system and 7 gears which are now being fitted to the petrol engines, which not only reduce the emissions level but are also more economical.
