hi anyone with genuine 18inch sline alloys check there fuel cap for the tyre pressure please, i upgraded mine from 17inch to 18inch but dont know if i have the right pressure for the 18inch tyres, at the moment they are 28psi front and 30psi at the rear, the tyres are CONTINETAL SPORT 2 (225 40 18), checked the web but cant find noting, many thanks

Assuming that your's is a 3-door two wheel drive, like mine, my fuel flap says 33psi front and 30psi rear for 18"....

yes it is a 3 door two wheel drive, is that pressure with a full load of people??? whats the best pressure to run the tyres??

To confuse matters further, my A3 sportback recommended tyre pressures were 38F/35R.
Anything less than that and you noticed the handling going stodgy.

I needed a new fuel flap under warranty.
The dealer gave me the car back with a sticker for 17" wheels....:wtf:
