Regal Rolling Road day

Right guys.

As some of you were away for the original dates proposed, the fact most people wanting re-maps want GIAC and in order to try and simplify this I'm making an executive decision and proposing we use Regal and commit to a date of Saturday October 4th.

To confirm the offer:
Regal - 15 cars minimum:
1. Runs at £35.
2. 30% off GIAC software upgrades on the day (Pre-booked ideally to ensure resource is available to load up the software)
3. Discount on hardware like intakes, exhausts, etc. Again pre-ordering would ensure no disappointment on the day. Discounts on these items will vary from product to product, if pre-ordered the discount will be confirmed before hand.
4. They also promise to look after us on the day.

Paul @ Regal has also advised he will educate us on the variances of Rolling Roads, what to look for etc, etc, which may help shed some light on some of the confusing things we've seen recently, their rolling road is only 2 months old (I'm sure Paul will post more details at some point!).

So if you can cut and paste your name, car model and include anything elsee you want on the day:

Is this only for 8P models or can a 8L S3 come too as Regal is very local to me and i would be interested to see how it is performing eg on a rolling road.

will check with the missus that i am allowed out that day n if so i will be attending.

Put me down as a yes. If you don't mind me asking, how come you're not using JKM?

Do you know how much experience Regal have with the 1.8T engine? I need a second opinion on mine as it's down on power and supposedly running lean. JKM have told me they can't find a fault so I'd like someone else to take a look before I take the 200 mile pilgrimage up to Custom Code HQ for diagnosis!

Re: s3 kev - Yes Regal have a 4 wheel roller.
I'll get them to add details for you, it's only a few months old!!!
Re: themanthatcan - I think regal are pretty experienced in the 8L.

I could well be interested in this. I certainly want to look at getting the car re-mapped and it will have run in nicely by then. I could also be interested in intake and exhaust depending on how my local dealer are about them. The only thing is the savings would have to be pretty good for me to want to make the journey to Southampton.

If you could find out a rough price for intake, turbo back exhaust and a re-map it would be much appreciated.

Jamie, I have two mates who want to tag along for a go on the RR - SamPet from on here who has a MKIV GTI and another guy who has a Nissan Navara (wtf?!)

I'll check with Chris that it's ok to do on the day. One of the techs has a Trooper "Bighorn" with huge wheels/tyres and a lft kit on it.

Just for reference that fits on no worries...
