Reaer windscreen washer not working

No windscreen wash is coming out of the rear wiper on my A3. The reservoir tank is full, and the front washers work fine. I poked a pin into both of the holes at the base of the wiper to see if it would clear out any gunk, but still nothing. Can anyone suggest anything to help? How does this mechanism work and is it easy to access? Thanks.

I found the pin trick worked on mine, though you have to be quite brutal with the pin.

Failing that, check to see if there is any water escaping from the pipe through the tailgate anywhere (Hold the wash down for a few seconds and see if you can hear/see water coming out from the tailgate)

DaveR or MarkQ can probably give a better idea of where the pipe runs through the tailgate though!

Have you recently had your parcel shelf holder replaced or had the trim removed from either side of the boot?

I had this done on my previous (non-audi) car and when the garage refitted the panels the squashed the pipe so the water wouldn't pass through it.
