    SD CARD Type

I know this has been mentioned before but i can't remember the answer!

What type of card is it I require for my DVD Sat Nav Plus unit?

Want to put an album on a 1Gb card as its too large for CD but don't want to buy the wrong thing. I put a Sony card in yesterday just to check and the head unit didn't even register it was in which started my old grey matter going!

    Some advice would be great.

    Cheers Guys

Ok, i hope im reading this right (Still a bit typsy from last night, a messy messy night )

You need to buy an SD card, but it must be a normal size, not microw, mini, etc etc.

Oh and it must NOT be a SDHC version of SD card, because you unit wont like it.

I bought 2x 2gb cards from play for a tenner, now u cant knock that for value:

found these which will suit your needs for less than a tenner, shipped

What is the reason for not using SDHC? Wanna buy a 4Gb card but they are all SDHC

Don't know why SDHC cards don't work, but I've heard of people using 4GB cards, so non-SDHC cards must be available.

They are, a bit costly though. I got 2x 2gb cards for a tenner. 2x4gb was gonna be more than 35!

non SDHC cards are available but are quite rare and are more expensive. The larger cards are all being replaced by SDHC.

I got mine off ebay in the end
