Ok fellas, after thinkin about it for a few weeks I've bought a new S3 to replace the golf GTi Edition 30 I wrote off a month ago.
Its a brand new pre-specced Ibis white model, with DVD sat-nav, black stylin pack, FBMFSW, phone prep, i-pod, tyre sensor, rain and light pack and a few other bits and bobs I can't remember right now.
I couldn't wait the required 16-20 weeks being quoted for a face-lift model and am pretty happy with the deal I got.
So be prepared for a barrage of questions people:laugh:
 
A couple of weeks I hope, the car is at another dealer darn sarf, and my dealer is doin a swap
 
8% or there abouts, but it was the spec that sold it to me as much as anything, its just about what I would have ordered myself

Ive just moved to an S3 from a 200ps Gti and you wont regret it.

I hope not pal, my ED30 was doin 316bhp and 348ft/lbs of torque, was running APR fuel pump and remap, full milltek TBE, carbonio intake, eibach coilovers, eibach anti-roll bars, forge DV valve, zero sixty brakes so was pretty sorted and was just how I wanted it before the accident, so the S3 has got a bit to live up to:arco:
 
650 pal, through adrian flux, pretty mod friendly, but I am 36
 
thats good, I used them years ago when I had a modded mk2 escort they were good then too.

I reckon I'm looking at £700 for my new S3 roughly might go for a remap after a while and I wonder how much that will load it up?
 
not as much as you would think, about 60 quid on my last car
