Please, please, please can somebody help !

No, my other key is at home and I can'tget there without the car

Do you think it would turn over with the immobiliser not working though ?

I'm baffled !

where did the pop noise sound like it was coming from? Was it the stereo or instrument cluster? What fuses did you check, there are a few in the engine bay on top of the battery as well as the ones at the end of the dashboard. When you try to start it does the immobiliser light stay on?

The fact that you heard a pop would suggest that a fuse has blown. Have you checked all of the fuses ? There are two fuse boxes one in the engine compartment and the one at the side of the dash.

If there was am immoboliser issue it would start and then die straight away.

Thank you so much guys for all your help

I checked the fuse board at the side of the steering wheel and the car install people had left a wire.

They had forced a wire straight in to fuse 28 (I think) and because the loose wire had hit metal it fused.

Replaced it for another 10 amp and now the car is alive again ….. HOOOOOORRRRRRAAAAAAAAY

Still got a problem with the radio but I can live with that for now
