Splash shields for brakes...

yes you can change them easily - 3 or 4 bolts (may be siezed) once the calipers, disks etc are off, and you dont need them - most big brakes kits either remove them or cut them down.

the correct size parts are cheap from audi parts - i just fitted 345mm s3/r32 front disks/calipers/carriers and the splash shields were about £20 each i think

Hi,
Am i right in thinking that the splash gaurds on 2010 A3's and A4's are a larger diameter than what is on my 2004 8P A3?
Plus they seem to come painted silver now as opposed to just plain metal.

Does anyone know if 2010 splash gaurd will fit the 2004 car? Alternatively, are S3 Splash gaurds larger than a standard 2.0TDi? Will they fit the 2.0TDi?

Mine are rusting badly and i want to replace them, but i prefer the larger 2010 model splash gaurds.
