What is the difference- is it just disks and carriers - same as 8L chassis?

Will carriers from 8L / MK4 golf / Leon etc do the job?

Yeah mate, just discs and carriers required :icon_thumright:
Not sure about the MK4 platform carriers being the same tbh, they do look very similiar although you would have to check the hole spacing for the mounting bolts etc

according to VAGPARTS they are different.

still might do it - made a big difference to the older A3 we have.
