Ok then guys ive searched this forum for altenatives for the pre facelift front end and cant really see anything apart from the votex kit.
Exactly what would i need to change to do a front end conversion to the facelift?
So far i got bumper including new single grille and bonnet, is there anything else?

Thanks in advance.

Did yours have fog lights?

Which bumper have you got?

Depending which bumper you have you will need fog lights and the surrounds. Other than that dont think there is much more you will need, ive got a guide somewhere.

All bolts etc should be the same

Im in the process of doing the same to mine

You will need the bonnet and front bumper along with the front bumper accesories - thats it!

ABT do the new style S3 conversion for the early 8P model have a look at awesome GTi's website for pricing.

what accessories do you need boydie, other than fog and grills, do you need any brackets etc?

By accesories i just meant the grill, fogs and surrounds

as for brackets and underneath parts of the car i assume you don't need anything extra but I am not 100% sure

does anyone know where to source a facelift bonnet? except main dealer

about how much are they?

thanks

I go to a breakers yard, you might even pick one up in the right colour and it'll save you painting it. Don't get a pattern part it will never fit right.

any breaker's yard u know? becuase im in london i cant find any around..

thanks

thx for the info but i need the front bumper with single grill and the newer bonnet to do the facelift conversion.

that is what i need right?

thanks

Hi, i have just started a forum for this info. I was told you need the front bumper assembly too..

Also i got this quote back from vag parts (vagparts.com)..

There would be many small parts needed to complete such a job as this, but if I give you the prices on the main big parts only now, it will give you an idea of what's involved:
Bonnet £150+vat
Bonnet Gaskets £15+vat
Bumper £340+vat
Grille £65+vat

thats cool.....has anyone done it conversion at all?

thanks

Steve decided what you're doing with "those" bent pipes yet? I'll be gettin mine sorted within the next 2 weeks I hope.

I'm thinking of a complete exhaust, if it costs £80 to change the tips then I might as well put that towards a back box or system.

With this conversion, are the lights the same ??? Personally I would find a breakers yard, go down there are pull the bits off yourself, then you will understand how everything comes apart and goes back together, you can also get all the brackets.

Breakers VERY rarely let you go poking around cars removing parts these days. If they're decent motors, you tell them what you want and they remove it for you.... Providing they haven't already stripped the car down fully.

There are Audi and sports/prestige specialist breakers.... Do a web search.
