3rd gear's my favourite...
Hi all,
Last night got in my car to go home from work and there was a very regular (once every 5 seconds os so) 'clunk' or 'knock' from what appeared to be the left of the steering column lower dash. It wasn't that loud but could be hard above the stereo.
I thought it might be a stuck air vent or something like that so I had a play with the vent controls but nothing changed.
By the time I got home the noise had stopped and no sign of it this morning.
Just wondered if anybody else had heard this or had an idea of what it was.
