Great forum, been reading for a while, my 53 reg A3 2.0 TDi (75k on the clock) had its cambelt changed a month ago and as of yesterday a bad knocking noise has started coming from the engine compartment, its only noticeable when the car is at a standstill or when the clutch is compressed, initially I thought it might be something to do with the engine mount, given the recent work but that all seems fine so could it be the clutch starting to go or could it be something else??
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
