The rims on the red A3 are SLR replicas in 19"
 
Theyre off a McLaren SLR aren't they? a bizzare choice to leave the Merc centre caps on but they're very good looking wheels.

They are a Euro style modification mate - Merc rims are a direct fit to most VAG cars and part of the style is to include the centre caps

stunning a3 boydie, gotta couple questions for you though, what size alloys have you got and whats the offset etc of them, and do you get any rubbing with people in the back with it lowered as much as it is im guessing it sitting on coilovers? cheers mate
 
Great photography! Particularly like the first shot with the city background - very impressive.

Hey mate, the rims are 19" BBS CH et50

I have zero rubbing issues when the car is full, only when the car is full left lock is there rubbing

I have FK Highsport coilovers in, roughly lowered 45mm all round - not entirely sure

Looking awesome - specially the blue one! What tire size are you on? The styling kit is Votex right? Glued on in the front or did you "integrate" it with the bumper?

Yeah, they are 19" BBS CH et50

The kit is Vortex but I have not incorporated the rear bumper spoiler as I do not like it!

the top pic imo is proper car porn.

I love the front end of the red one. not keen on the wheels.

Boydie your car sits perfectly.

what is and how much was your suspension set up.

the suspension is FK highsport coilovers lowered roughly 45mm all round - think i paid £435 for the coilovers and they were fitted by my mate with my aid lol
 
When I get my new wheels i'd best invest in that kit then.

Such a fantastic stance. Think the red one is a bit low at the front.

Also what spoiler is that? and have you a part no.

Yeah especially the first photo really is car porn. You have that in high res?

Btw, I was so stupid that I had a brand new Votex front lip on my hands for roughly 80 pounds AND turned it down. Now I really regret. Well it only fit perfectly together with the side skirts anyway. Agree with you on the rear lower Votex lip, don't fancy that one myself. That's why I bought the cleaned out bumper and the lower lip with the painted "diffuser"...perfect look IMO.

The stance is just perfect - sweet. I've recently bought the Hartmanns G5's 19 by 8" with Michelin PS2 235/35-19...would have bought 225's but changed my mine in the last minute...really need the extra wheel protection by that 10mm rubber. Bad roads where I live. Now I'm concerned about lowering 'cause I'm going to fit H&R 55mm springs and I think it might not be enough of a drop...oh well he who lives too see, right...
 
I meant the rear spoiler boydie.

I trust its just the s-line one?

Oh right, so was an optional when it was bought new?

Was always under the impression only the s-lines and s3s had spoilers as standard.
 
the sports came standard with the roof spoiler and the votex kit - front lip spoiler, rear lip spoiler and skirts - was a £1000 optional extra upon purchase

I picked up the skirts on ebay for £200 new (£340 new from audi) and the front lip from ebay from a scrappers for £75 (£320 new from audi)
 
Sorry mate don't understand mines the 140 sport. Doesn't have front or rear spoilers. But could have done if he'd ordered them as optional.
 
A friend of mine messed around with photoshop for me and came up with this - I like! click on them for better res!

Wow Boydie, i think your wheels look the best i've seen on an A3!!!
