Got a problem with my phone book sync with the above phones.

Used to have no problems with my Nokia 6300 all downloaded ok.

All numbers are stored on the phone on the E51. Is anyone else having similar issues

Thanks Matt

Nokia E and N series are a ****** nightmare bluetooth-wise...and that's not just referring to Audi.

I hear software/firmware updates on the Nokia websites can bring the phonebook up in some cases. Might be worth giving that a try.

So many people seem to ask about this, but it's quite straight forward...

1. Delete any pairing between the phone and the car.
2. Download and install the .sis file from
http://europe.nokia.com/A4143881 to your phone. (There's a few versions there, the E51 is a 3rd edition phone so just use that one).
3. Open the "Download" application on the phone (it's installed under "Applications" after installing the above)... It will just say "Processing", and appear to do nothing.
4. Switch on the car and pair the phone again. After a short while the "Download" program will transfer the contacts to the car.

This should work for pretty much all Nokias that people have troubles with.

You will have phonebook only if you have mobile without Symbian...
OR if you download a patch from the Nokia website onto your Symbian-based Nokia phone (doesn't work with all models, but it does with most).
