What is the advantage of this head unit over standard? I dont use CD's or tapes?

Oh and Im adding a dension IPOD kit afterwards, to maintain full control over the ipod

DOn't think there is any, have a look at the link in the ICE section they are to release a version that shows track names up on DIS, that would be the only reason I would want to stay standard, otherwise ipod control with an aftermarket stereo - ideally touchscreen is much better. Oh and the other benefit of symphony is it makes upgrading to RNS-E easier.

Having a symphony doesn't make upgrading to RNS-e any easier - the concert is double DIM now, so don't worry about that. I ahve sympony and other than taking 6 cd's rather than the single in the concert there is no other difference!!!

If its a new model then it'll be double din but if its pre 2007 then there are both single and double din units out there
