The knurled bit you twist to open/close the vent - Anyone know where I can get a set, how much they cost and are they metal or plastic?

Looking on the US AudiWorld forums all A3 S-line cars seem to come with these as standard. Not sure why we don't get them!

I guess you could get them from audi or vagparts ? they do look nice though

You can't actually buy the trim. It's only available as the whole air vent and as you need four of them it will be prohibitively expensive for what is essentially a piece of aluminium trim.

There are some after market chrome trims that you put over your existing vents but they look tacky in my opinion. (Have a search on eBay to see what I mean)

As far as i know from Audi they are £200 for the set
