Evening chaps.....

Has anyone got a VIN breakdown list which gives you the low down about your car? I know it was posted on here a few weeks ago but I can't find it anywhere!

cheers

cheers for that..

I now know that it was built in Ingolstadt, Germany and not in France :icon_thumright:

now for my next tedious question!!

Does anyone know how I would find out which engine I've got? I assume they'll be an engine number somewhere?

THe main reason is that I've been told by the dealer that I've got the latest 1.9 tdi engine which has lower emissions than the standard unit (118 co2/k as opposed to the standard 138 co2/k),however a P46 arrived in the post this morning and it says 138 co2/k on it. I just want to make sure that I don't get screwed for company car tax. (robbing gits)...

thanks

Audi only produce the A3 at the Ingolstadt plant and a new one just outside Brussels in Belgium. The Brussels plant produces some A3s at the moment but it will be the plant used to produce the new A1 when that comes on stream.
