if you are stationary, in gear and have the clutch fully depressed car you feel the engine firing through the pedal?

If the pedal slightly off the floor I can, but if it's fully depressed you can't feel anything through it

have a quattro on loan which doesn't do it (different g/box??) but my FWD does all the time - quite noticable

may get them to look at the engine mounts whilst it's at the dealer
