    Shark Fin Aerial

    Hi,
    Can any body help,i am about to fit the shark fin aerial to my sportback but what i need are the measurments from the left hand side of the car to the left side of the aerial base and also from the back of the car to the back of the aerial base.
    Can any body help with these measurments ?

    Why would you want to retro-fit one? There is no way I'd be drilling holes in the roof of mine!

    When I did mine I just taped an A4 sheet of paper in the approximate area with masking tape then marked a centre line from each side, then I lifted up the tailgate to work out how far back the ariel needs to be to miss the tailgate, it's fairly easy really.
    Mine sits this far back


    I can get you some measurements, but the cars not available until later on

    is that a genuine audi fin mate? where did you get it from? what was the cost? thinking of doing this to mine

    Done this to a number of peoples cars now, as long as you use your head as interms of rust protection, maybe some sealant to strengthen the already sealed area with the antenna base you'll be fine, but careful measurements needed aswell as positioning centered etc, about 60 from audi btw.

    i was just wanting the shark fin for the styling side of things, dont need it hooked up so not gonna be cutting the roof.

    where is best to get it from? do they come with adhesive on them?
