ECU reset?

Can we do a ECU reset on these cars? ( disconect the battery for 20 mins basicly ) so the ECU starts at a fresh.

Ive not got a clue what my car has been run on for the first 6 months of its life, it's now running on V-power and i want to feel the benefit ASAP!

Will it work on these cars? any tip on resetting it?

I think a few tankfulls of your favorite flavour petrol will make the ECU adapt. I did see someone mention this a few weeks ago.

Oh yeah it will, but if you reset the ECU it will adapt right away , it will be like the ECU of a brand new car!

We used to swear by it on the GTI6 owners club, the cure for all ailments! LOL

Just wondering if a reset would be bad for these cars?
